Fishing is decent all along the river from the dam to the mouth. Striped bass being caught on shad, trout, Alabama and umbrella rigs in deep holes. Trout good on Power Bait, rooster tails and Rapalas in deeper holes at the dam and Watts area. Fly fishing good on nymphs below an indicator, especially in the Watts area. Crappie good on live bait, tube jigs and minnow tipped jigs at 11-17 ft. just off the bottom of the lake bed around docks, brush structure, standing timber and along the dam shoreline. Fishing is slowly picking up as water.

Warden Alyssa Neff-Miller was on a Thanksgiving mission to take her holiday greetings photo for her service territory in Manitowoc County. She was on patrol in Point Beach State Forest and thought the forest made for a perfect background for her holiday photo.
